Fragments of Istanbul

Section 1: The Vision
Project Name: Fragments of Istanbul
Client Name: Andreas Stelzer
What We Wanted to Do:

My journey as a photographer in Istanbul was very introspective. While capturing the spirit of this vibrant city and its people, I encountered heartbreaking realities that challenged the boundaries of my artistic practice. I approach my work with respect and try to communicate with my protagonists through the lens, capturing the unadulterated beauty and authenticity of life. Ultimately, my aim is to share my view of the world and evoke an emotional response through my photographs.

Section 2: The Execution
Bringing Ideas to Life
What We Did:

The exhibition gives an insight into my work as a street photographer and shows how I perceive life. In search of the moment, I always stay longer in one place and wait for something to happen, often without knowing what I am getting into. This is how I explored Istanbul, following my intuition and impressions through the city. In Fragments of Istanbul, I express a lot of myself and can put myself in the situations and people I have captured.
